Eat, Drink, & Be Scary

For a perfectly gruesome centerpiece, this skull and cookie tray covered in blood is the way to go. I’m not sure I’d take it to a kid’s party, but every adult Halloween get-together needs one. The stark white icing and blood-red gel do wonders for this setup.

For the blood, you have a few choices. A simple tube of icing gel can do the trick, but you might need to thin it out, and it honestly doesn’t taste good. I highly recommend using strawberry syrup for that perfect color and drip! If you want something a little more high-end, you can make a simple flavored syrup and add some food dye.
