Don’t hurt me, Carrie! – Why not?

Everyone has seen the iconic 1976 film Carrie starring Sissy Spacek and John Travolta. If you haven’t, put it on your Halloween movie list. All those girls covered in buckets of blood running around at the end of October are referencing one of the classic horror moments of the 70s.

I won’t post any spoilers, just in case, but this cake does an excellent job of recreating the famous scene. Even better, with this Pinterest fail as an example, you should feel great about your attempt if you give this Halloween treat a go! Maybe just pour a little more blood into her hair.
