#41: Herb Recovery
If your fresh herbs have wilted and look past their prime, you may think you need to toss them into your compost. However, you just might be able to save them to use them another day. Since herbs are helpful for so many things, it’s worth keeping them around as long as possible.

First, cut off the herb’s stems and carefully remove any parts that look damaged or bruised. Next, sink the herbs into a bowl of ice water for up to 30 minutes, then gently remove them and pat them dry with a tea towel. Finally, you can store them in an airtight container.
