Fight Club

Just when I thought high school couldn’t get any more brutal, we’ve got kids running secret fight clubs now. And towels? What is this, a gym class gone wrong? But seriously, the fact that someone lost their life in this so-called “game” is beyond tragic. It’s shameful that a local politician tried to sweep it under the rug.

I hope those kids learned a lesson from this – that their actions have consequences and that secrecy and violence are never the answer. And to the politician who buried the story – well, I hope they’re ready to face the music. Because nothing stays buried forever, especially not a scandal like this.
