Tommy Lee Jones

On the one hand, it’s a little disappointing to find out that Tommy Lee Jones doesn’t know how to function in normal society. He seems so utterly confident and sure of himself in all of his movies that I just can’t wrap my head around a situation where he wouldn’t know how to respond.

On the other hand, it’s probably totally understandable that actors are sometimes awkward. Just because you’re good at acting in movies doesn’t mean you’ll be good at talking to interviewers on camera, for example. Plus, maybe Tommy just wanted to enjoy his meal and get out of there without a fuss.
