#37: Contingency Plan

Unfortunately for some people, weddings aren’t always these big, beautiful, nothing-can-go-wrong kinds of events. In life, people aren’t always happy for one another when something good happens to them. So it takes a lot of guts to officiate a wedding and even more so to navigate a potential objection from a vindictive ex-girlfriend.

It’s definitely not an easy position to be in… Even so, it’s important to remember that weddings are about celebrating love, not drama. If you do find yourself in a similar situation, just remember to stay calm and focused on the couple at the center of the ceremony.
