#27: Never Got Over Sally Field

Reynolds and Sally Field had an on-again, off-again relationship in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and despite their breakup, he never got over her. In multiple interviews, he called Field “the love of my life” and admitted that letting her go was his biggest regret.

However, Field did not share his sentiment. In her own memoir, In Pieces, she revealed that their relationship was controlling and that Reynolds had a darker side that few people saw. Although Reynolds wanted to reconnect, Field never responded before he passed away in 2018.
