#24: Fell Out with Paul Thomas Anderson
Reynolds’ biggest career comeback came in 1997, when he starred as Jack Horner, a pornographic film director, in Boogie Nights. The film was critically acclaimed, and Reynolds received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

However, he hated the experience, frequently clashing with director Paul Thomas Anderson. He even refused to watch the film and fired his agent for getting him the role. Despite his dislike for the project, it remains one of his best performances.
