#43: Honestly, What’s That About?

Judging by this thread, it’s safe to say that Black Friday is pretty special to the U.S. It’s not that other countries don’t celebrate the shopping holiday, but not to the same extent. This person from Australia makes a really good point. Are Black Friday deals really that special? I’m sure if you put enough effort into it, you can find better deals online.

And the best part about online shopping is that you don’t need to get trampled by the masses in order to get that sweater or shoes you’ve been dreaming of. Black Friday is a beloved tradition here in the U.S., but it makes me wonder if maybe we could all benefit from changing that tradition… What’s your take?
