#34: O, Canada

Well, here’s a rather wholesome story with a rather amusing twist at the end. This person had heard enough horror stories like the ones that we’ve been talking about here that they were ready for just about anything to kick off when they went and did their shopping.

And instead, there were treats and costumes and photos and singing carols and a thoroughly pleasant experience. And it all makes sense when you get to the end of the story. We all know Canadians are more chill and more polite than their neighbors to the south (I can say that, I’m an American), so it makes sense that they have turned the worst day of the year into something delightful.
