#33: Oh, Christmas Tree

I was all set to be smug and judgmental about this next story, until I realized that the doorbuster item that the customers were so fervently fighting over it was an artificial Christmas tree. And now I get it. Have you purchased an artificial Christmas tree lately? They got absurdly expensive all of the sudden.

I’m still using the cruddy one that I got from Walmart in college, the one that’s shorter than I am, because I got that one for super cheap, and now I can’t bring myself to spend hundreds on a fake tree. So yeah, I’m totally siding with the customers in this story. They know how ridiculous artificial tree pricing is.
