#86: Absolutely Terrified
The colossal mass of algae, reminiscent of a Titanoboa in size, continued its inexorable advance toward them. Though Kelsey couldn’t see it, the sound and scent of its approach were unmistakable. It slithered with an eerie fluidity, filling the air with the tang of saltwater, the earthy dampness, and an unsettlingly human musk.

Luke’s cries had escalated into frenzied screams as he abandoned the ax and clawed at the opening he had created in the door. With desperate strength, he tore it wide, clearing a path for their escape. Without hesitation, Kelsey, Vanessa, and Luke raced through the opening, their hearts pounding in their chests. With a resounding thud, they slammed the door shut behind them, sealing themselves off from the encroaching horror.
