In the midst of the unfolding emergency, Kelsey found a sudden clarity and resolve settling over her. “Right,” she announced firmly, her tone commanding attention. “That’s a wrap, everyone.” With swift determination, she seized the trio of tapes. “Time to go,” she declared, leading Vanessa and Luke toward the exit.

But John hesitated, his attention drawn back to the communication station. The ominous rustling noise echoed once more, and Kelsey’s instinct screamed at him to flee. Yet, he remained rooted in place, his gaze fixed on the station. “We can’t leave just yet,” he insisted, his voice filled with an urgency that sent shivers down Kelsey’s spine.
