Jack Madrone perched on a chair, his gaze fixed on the lens. He felt the sting of tears threatening his eyes, knowing all too well that whatever lurked within the submarine had spared him until the end.

Clearing his throat, he addressed the security camera looming above. “I am Jackson Emilio Madrone,” he began, his voice quivering with emotion. “I am the sole survivor aboard The Patriot. If anyone finds this recording, please convey my love to my family. There’s a presence aboard this vessel… something insatiable.”
