#27: Getting to Know John

Kelsey was on the fence about John. Not for lack of trust, but simply due to unfamiliarity. John was assuredly confident, perhaps overly so, a trait not unusual in academic circles. Yet, his credentials were undeniable, verified by the very fact that he was chosen by her superiors for the role.

By now, any doubts about John had to be shelved. Together with him, Kelsey was aboard a submersible, descending into the deep. It was a time for mutual trust among the team, a fundamental necessity for the journey ahead.
