The Work of Jo Sharp

Have you ever heard of Jo Sharp? We read this tweet thinking, “we aren’t familiar with the works of Jo Sharp,” but then, plot twist – this person is Jo Sharp! In college, he had a paper rejected because, apparently, he wasn’t familiar with the work of Jo Sharp well enough. Did the professor know this person is Jo Sharp?

Maybe this person didn’t know his own work well enough? I can see that happening. Some people pay others to write their papers for them, in which case they might not know anything about their papers. Or maybe he did a lousy job and his research wasn’t thorough enough, leading to this strange comment. Whatever it is, it’s funny more than anything else.
