#49: Be the Match

Someone shared a very simple one-in-a-million story from their life. They were signed up to be a bone marrow donor and one day, they came up as a match for someone. This was a very special opportunity because as a bone marrow donor you volunteer to donate your bone marrow for life-saving purposes.

Finding a bone marrow match for a patient in need can be very difficult, and sometimes it just doesn’t happen. This person who donated did a very selfless thing for a total stranger, and that’s pretty awesome. The recipient probably felt like they won the lottery, only they received a much better gift than cash.
