Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey is another celebrity who still has a devoted following, despite doing some stuff over the years that might be considered a little questionable. There are a lot of people who take her show very seriously as a source of good information, so it’s very disappointing when she promotes people like Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz, who are known to peddle some pretty suspicious products and ideas.

Really, though, it’s the fact that she gave Jenny McCarthy a platform from which to promote nonsense that really ruins Oprah for me. She really does endorse questionable products and people all for the sake of fame and money; I guess that’s something a lot of celebrities do, but I can see where this person comes from.
