James Corden
I remember that when James Corden first started to be a thing in the US—I think he was in a play in New York City that got huge—there was a general sense from the UK of “You Yanks can have him.” I never really understood that, but maybe if he was known for treating fans badly, that could have contributed to his less than stellar reputation in the United Kingdom.

I do have to give him props, though, for having some really funny bits for his talk show. Carpool Karaoke, the crosswalk musicals, and the very silly mini-musicals he does with his guests are pretty great. Although, as he has a team of writers and producers, I guess he can’t really take credit for all of that.
