Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise is a confusing guy. His public image has very much been waning since that weird period when he was married to Katie Holmes and got really into Scientology and jumped on Oprah’s couch that one time. On top of that, I feel like he really isn’t in that many movies anymore, and the ones he’s in aren’t particularly prestigious.

And yet, when he does make movies, people still go see them. He is still enough of a box office draw that just his presence is enough to convince them to see something. I guess there is a portion of the population that isn’t really bothered by the weirdness.
