Going Through a Rebellious Phase

This isn’t exactly an act of kindness, but something that warmed our hearts nonetheless. Some kids go through a rebellious phase growing up, where they skip their curfew, or learn a few curse words. These parents did something right, and their daughter’s “rebellious act” was staying up late reading under her covers.

We can definitely relate to that – escaping to other, magical realms under the covers into the night. Of course, this eight-year-old wasn’t as clever and she thought, and her parents knew just what she was doing. They’ve decided to play along, allow this “rebellious phase” to go on, and even secretly encouraged it by replacing the batteries on her flashlight.
