The Kindness of Strangers

Have you ever been to a store, such as Rite Aid, wherein only one register was open with a long line of impatient customers? We’ve all been there. This person in the tweet below dictated a situation just like that. However, in this case, the long line of “impatient” customers were really kind Samaritans looking to help a fellow customer in need.

This woman’s card wasn’t working, delaying the line from moving. So, almost every person in line tried to pay her bill. The man in the front “won.” He even gave the woman an extra $100 in case she needed it. “In case you needed to know, many people are actually alright,” the tweet concludes. That’s something we definitely need to hear from time to time.
