Help a Little

This Manhattanite likes to help out the city from time to time. Here, a passerby caught her cleaning an island between streets in Manhattan. He asked her why she was sprucing up the area. The anonymous lady responded that the city doesn’t have time to get to everything, so she likes to help out whenever the opportunity presents itself.

It’s like Mr. Rogers said – during times of crisis, look for the helpers. While this woman isn’t necessarily cleaning the city amid a catastrophic event, she’s still providing a very helpful service. Every little bit counts. If everyone just contributed even a modicum of what this woman is doing, the world would be a better place.
