Here’s a sweet tweet regarding a homeless man’s journey. Someone noticed that a homeless guy who regularly came into their local Starbucks for water now has a job as a cashier. It’s a wonderfully touching and downright inspirational story. It’s evidence of the strength of the human spirit. We are tenacious beings, indeed.

This is something that should be front and center for every newscast and featured in online publications. We need way more feel-good stories on our social media feeds, while all we get is more bad news. If this man can pull himself up by his bootstraps and get a job while rising above homelessness, then anything is possible. Sometimes, people just need an opportunity.
