Although a little crass, we must hand it to Mr. Ponytail here: statistically, he must be right. We don’t want to get into the nitty gritty details here but there’s about 50.4% of the population who definitely have and another 49.6% who most likely have. So, percentage-wise, we must be at least in the high 90s.

It follows that the next question is – well, what are the implications – and I have to weigh in on this one that I think the implications are next to none. Statistically, most of those hands would have been otherwise occupied in the minutes or hours immediately preceding said shake. And anyway, a lot of them have probably held way worse.
