#24: Prison Poltergeists

If there is one thing that Hollywood horror movies have taught me, it’s that you have got to stay away from prisons, hospitals, and any sort of institution where people might have died. According to horror writers, that’s where all the scary stuff happens. And dark basements and abandoned cabins in the woods.

Of course, I say that, but it’s not like I actually watch any horror movies. Life is too short to deliberately frighten yourself, I say. So I avoid them. But still, I’ve seen enough to know that you avoid prisons where people have died. That’s just asking for trouble.
