Intoxicated Shift

If you’re telling your boss that you’re drunk just to avoid working on your day off, then you might want to reconsider your priorities. Also, your boss is not going to be impressed with your honesty. They’re going to be annoyed that you’re trying to weasel your way out of work.

Next time you’re asked to work on your day off, maybe just be honest with your boss. Tell them that you have plans or that you need a break. They might not like it, but they’ll respect you for being upfront with them. And who knows, they might even give you a break and let you have the day off.
