So does it count as a ghost if the person isn’t dead, they’re just in a coma? I guess that’s the topic of the movie Just Like Heaven, and Mark Ruffalo certainly thinks that Reese Witherspoon is a ghost at first. So I guess you can consider them a ghost if you would like to. There are no strict rules to that.

This is definitely a strange story, but personally—as someone with a tendency to focus on the wrong details sometimes—I just can’t get past the statement that he hit a mule on the highway. What was a mule doing on the highway? Where did it come from? They don’t just wander wild.
