#42: John F. Kennedy – New England Fish Chowder
John F. Kennedy is remembered for many things—his role as the 35th president of the United States, his status as the youngest president in history, his military service, his devotion to family, and his tragic assassination in one of history’s most infamous crimes.

But you might not know that JFK wasn’t much of a foodie. In fact, it’s said that he often went long stretches without eating. When he did indulge, his go-to comfort food was New England chowder. This hearty dish satisfied his appetite and served as a nostalgic nod to his Massachusetts roots.
