#7: Don’t Engage the Trolls

Someone gave the most dad-centric piece of advice on Reddit. They simply said, “Keep away from idiots.” We must admit that the most concise advice is often the most accurate. It is, in fact, a good idea to keep idiots out of your life. A wise person once said that it’s better to be alone than in bad company. Don’t give idiots the time of day.

If you surround yourself with people who make dumb decisions, your life will inevitably be affected. You will start acting like them and making bad choices that can negatively change your life. Surround yourself with people who lift you up and take care of themselves. That’s the kind of positive energy we all need.
