#3: Don’t Panic
Sometimes, the most common sense advice is the most valuable. If your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, make sure you stay with your car. This is especially true if you happen to get stranded in a snowstorm. Many people panic when they are in this situation and end up wandering away from their vehicles.

This decision can be dangerous and even fatal in many ways. When you stay put in your car, you have a shelter. Plus, cars are easier to spot than small human figures. As an extra measure, keep a flashlight, blanket, and some nonperishable snacks in your car, just in case. You never know when you may need them!
