This health tip is by no means a full-scale medical treatment. However, it might be helpful to some people who want to try it. Some studies show that caffeine may help treat asthma symptoms. Some people swear that drinking coffee helps them breathe better. A cup of coffee might be a short-term replacement for an inhaler if you forgot yours at home.

Obviously, coffee and caffeine are not cures for asthma. Some studies just show that caffeine can help airway functions for a few hours at a time. As always, consult with your doctor if you are asthmatic. Coffee might be delicious, but it’s by no means a replacement for proper medical care.
