#13: The Beat of Your Heart
Anyone who has taken a first aid/CPR class undoubtedly has a few classic songs engrained in their memories. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you have to perform life-saving chest compressions, remember to sing to yourself. What in the world does that mean? Well, there are certain songs that have the same beat-per-minute as necessary chest compressions.

“Another One Bites the Dust” by Queen and, ironically, “Stayin’ Alive” by The Bee Gees can help you stay on track when giving chest compressions. These songs have a bpm of around 100, which is within the range necessary to resuscitate someone and get blood and oxygen flowing to the brain.
