Some of us have to take an annual first aid class as part of our jobs. However, it’s a good idea for all of us to take a first aid class. You never know when you’ll be in a situation where first aid skills are needed. An emergency can strike at any moment, and it’s a good idea to be prepared with life-saving skills like CPR.

First aid classes are generally inexpensive. They are offered nationwide by organizations like the National CPR Foundation and the Red Cross. First aid classes are even more necessary if you’re a new or soon-to-be parent. Most people feel much more confident as parents when they have first-aid skills in their toolkit.
