#9: Turn Your Cabin Lights Off
For a person of color in the United States, there are so many rules you have to live by in your day-to-day just to get by. We have no doubt that having to constantly think about all the different things you need to do in your day gets tiring subconsciously.

First of all, who wants to drive with their cabin lights on? But more importantly, why would a person of color doing this feel threatening to someone else? Either way, this is just another rule that people of color have to live by in order not to create any unnecessary attitude from a stranger.
