In Kansas City in 2023, a 16-year-old boy named Ralph Yari was shot in the head after knocking on the wrong front door. The teenage boy went through emergency surgery and made a miraculous recovery. The 84-year-old man, Andrew Lester, who shot Ralph pleaded not guilty to first-degree assault in court.
