#30: Shopping Problems

If we’ve learned one thing so far about a POC, you’re not even safe when you go shopping. Either you get accused of stealing, or the staff will follow you around the store because they believe you might do something untoward, which is utterly ridiculous. It really doesn’t matter how you look.

People will accuse you of theft, regardless. Honestly, if I were this woman, I would’ve accused the employee of minor assault because there’s simply no reason she had to act this way. Pursuing criminal charges is the only way to prevent an incident like this from happening again, even though it’s challenging.
