#25: Cop Stop
A study by the Department of Transportation found that black drivers were nearly 30% more likely to be stopped than white drivers. This clear difference in traffic stops can lead to a distrust of law enforcement and contribute to a larger sense of injustice and marginalization for black or POC communities.

In addition, a study by Stanford University found that black drivers were nearly twice as likely to be searched during a traffic stop, even though they were no more likely to have contraband than white drivers. Of course, these issues are not limited to one particular geographic area or to one type of law enforcement agency.
