#18: Unwelcome Guest
Statistics show that all-white neighborhoods are still a reality in America, even with the country’s increasing diversity. According to the US Census Bureau, about 80% of neighborhoods in the country are either predominantly white or completely white. This is in spite of the fact that non-Hispanic white people make up only 60% of the total population.

The segregation of communities based on race has a long history in America, and it continues to shape the country in significant ways. While progress has been made in recent decades to address these inequalities, we need to do much more to create inclusive and integrated communities for everyone truly.
