Throw megalophobia out the window, because this photo? This falls under herpetophobia – fear of reptiles. That is one wickedly enormous crocodile. He might even rival Lolong, who currently holds the record for largest crocodile found at 20 ft 3 in long. Saltwater crocodiles such as this one can weigh up to 2,000 pounds.

If you aren’t already aware, there are several types of crocodiles: American, Saltwater, Marsh, Nile, Morelet’s, Dwarf, Cuban, Philippine, and West-African Slender, just to name a few. They’re not to be confused with alligators or caymans, however. Crocodiles are an entirely different type of reptile, though they look similar.
