#11: A Dog’s Dream Come True
It’s hard to imagine how large a whale is without actually seeing one, but this spine gives you some idea. The most enormous whale in the ocean is the blue whale, growing to 105 feet long from nose to fin. Coming in a close second is the finback, at 82 feet. After so many examples in this article, it’s becoming increasingly evident that megalophobes should avoid the ocean entirely!

This dog, however? He’s just found his personal dream come true. That’s enough bone to last him a lifetime, even if he shares. This particular spine belongs to a sperm whale, which only grows to 60 feet in length and was found along the coast of South Uist beach in Scotland. Many Lochness believers try to claim it’s from Nessie, but scientists shut that theory down.
