A Cross-Continental Gift
Here’s a fun story from history and perhaps the best cross-continental “Outstanding Move” to date. In 1945, Soviet school children presented a US Ambassador with the US Seal carved into a wooden wall piece. Seems innocuous, right? “It hung in his office for seven years before discovering it contained a listening device.”

Seven years? Excuse us? We’d preemptively check that wall piece from top to bottom to ensure that nothing was amiss. Especially since it’s crossed continents. Notably, between two major world powers that have clashed for decades. Better be safe than sorry. Just think about how much was heard via that listening device…
