A Costly Mistake
“My parents washed my mouth out with soap for saying a curse word … So I swallowed it and gave them a 5,000 dollar hospital bill,” one person admitted. You reap what you sow! Well, this is for the parents, at least. Washing your kid’s mouth out with soap for uttering an expletive feels excessive.

And potentially inhumane. That soap could contain toxins or chemicals or other unknown substances. Most soaps nowadays claim to be all natural, but this is most likely a story from the ‘90s. This parenting style seems pretty obsolete. The organic craze hadn’t swept the nation at that point. This kid wins. Go, kid, go!
