Streaming Loophole

This Twitter user unveiled an ingenious plan for getting free Netflix for more than a month: “Create a Netflix account on 29 Jan. so you can get the free month trial, which is supposed to end on 29 Feb. But the thing is 29 Feb. only comes once every four years, so BOOM you get free Netflix for four years.”

At face value, it seems like a foolproof plan. That being said, we’re pretty certain Netflix has encountered this very situation on more than one occasion. Chances are they’ve ensured that the free month trial will end on March 1 for the non-leap year years. Sorry, folks. Netflix will get that money one way or another.
