Everyone’s Clueless Here

No one in this next story is malicious, just really, really clueless. And I’m including the writer of the story in that. Who takes a minimum wage job that they have to commute a couple of hours a day for? I promise you, sweetie, there are minimum-wage jobs closer to your house.

Then there’s the couple in the story. I am not surprised, as the writer seems to be, that they didn’t realize how far away she lived. Why would they realize it? They probably assumed that she would have picked a job with a reasonable commute. What really shocks me about this story is the husband’s bad odor. I’m always shocked by married people who smell bad. Don’t their spouses notice and say anything?
