An Eggcellent Idea

Look, having a thing for eating hard-boiled eggs? Not that crazy. Some people just really love hard-boiled eggs. And anyway, maybe she heard the Gaston song from Beauty and the Beast, and she wanted to give it a try: you know, “When I was a lad, I ate four dozen eggs every morning to help me get large, and now that I’m grown, I eat five dozen eggs so I’m roughly the size of a barge.”

What I don’t get is making twelve, eating two, and throwing the rest away every single day. Does she not know that hard-boiled eggs keep for a really long time? That’s one of the greatest things about them! That and the fact that they are fun to dye and hide around the yard at Easter time.
