Involuntary Fasting

I’ve always thought being a live-in nanny would be a weird situation. What would it be like to live at your job? Personal, non-professional aspects of your life are controlled by your employer, even if they don’t mean to be controlling, just because you live under their roof.

For instance, what do you do if you eat with the family, but the family just doesn’t eat sometimes? I mean, in this case, I’d hope you’d speak up and advocate for yourself, or at least make yourself a sandwich, but that can be tricky and scary with an employer when you don’t want to lose your job.
