Pet Problems

I’m sort of fascinated by this next story about the family who paid both for an au pair to live in their home and a pet sitter to come by while they were out of town. Did they just not think that the au pair would do a good job taking care of their pet? Because if so, that’s hilarious and sad that they have higher standards for pet care than they do for child care. That would say a lot about their priorities.

Still, I bet that both the pet sitter and the au pair were pretty pleased with the arrangement; they both got paid for doing very, very little work and shared the responsibilities. That sounds like the ideal kind of job to have!
