It’s no secret that baristas and waiters often don’t get very high wages and rely heavily on tips. That means that even if they’re doing their jobs perfectly, their salary still relies on people’s kindness and generosity. Unfortunately, some people don’t see it necessary to tip their servers at all, and then there are people like the guy from the story below.

This high-end lawyer was a regular customer at a local bagel cafe, and he used to tip this waitress a quarter every time he visited the cafe. Did he really think a quarter was some generous tips to be proud of? Did he think he was helping this waitress in some way and expected her eternal gratitude?
