Monkey Mania

Look, who among us has not gone through a phase where we really wanted a monkey as a pet? I mean, I hope I’m not the only person here who used to really wanted to have a monkey as a pet, or else I sound like a nut right now. But they’re so cute! They can climb all over the place, and they’ve got those wise little monkey faces!

However, I eventually learned what this couple apparently did not: that monkeys do not make good pets and that it’s not good for the owner or the monkey. And if a monkey doesn’t make a good pet, I’m pretty sure it definitely doesn’t make a good test child. Also, what on earth is a test child? Is this the latest weird parenting trend that I’ve just missed out on?
